Historic Home Available for Your Special Parties
I’ve lived in San Antonio some thirty years, and I’m still discovering little gems I didn’t know existed! The historic Dashiell House is one of my recent finds.
It features gourmet food, a charming River Walk patio and a spectacular setting in an historic home built in the 1850’s.
This place could be the perfecting setting for your next special event. The beautifully renovated building (owned by the San Antonio Conservation Society) has 18-foot tall ceilings, shuttered windows, two fireplaces and original wood trim.
The charming inside dining rooms seat about 65 guests, and there’s even more room to be had on the beautiful patio situated on the quiet side of the River Walk by the Arneson Theater. Plus, the food is prepared by the talented chefs at the award winning Fig Tree Restaurant next door.
The Dashiell sits right across the walkway from the Little Church at La Villita and is perfect for wedding receptions, showers…any special occassion. For more info, head to their website
