Beer Pairings Winning Me Over

I’m a novice when it comes to knowing beers, but I admit, I’ve now been to two beer pairings and loved every minute!

My most recent “adventure” was at Bohanan’s beautiful new bar, where we paired different beers with different cheeses. Guess what: some of those beers paired better with the cheeses than wine!

We’re not talking just any beer. One of my favorite matches was a triple cream Brie paired with an Orval Belgian Pale Ale — wow!

If you’d like to venture outside the box of the familiar wine pairing and give your taste buds a tantalizing treat, check out the Brooklyn Beer Dinner Tuesday night at Pavil. Six different courses will be paired with six different beers.

My first beer pairing dinner was at Pavil, and now I’m hooked … a HUGE fan.
