Sonoma Winery Features Most Popular Chardonnay

Anytime is a great time to visit California wine country. I love Sonoma. The rolling hills, rural wineries and sprawling vineyards on those windy roads are so beautiful. In one of my visits to Sonoma I got a cooking lesson from the chef who develops incredible dishes to go with the most popular chardonnay—Kendall Jackson.

If you go to the Kendall Jackson tasting room, be sure and do the wine and food pairing. It’s very nicely done, and the folks there are wonderful!
Of course, you have to taste the Kendall Jackson Chardonnay, but be adventurous and try some of the wines the Kendall Jackson folks produce like the Matanzas Creek Sauvignon Blanc (I like this wine!) and if you’re feeling adventurous (and if they’re pouring), the Verite, a Bordeaux style blend, is very nice.
